 Athirapilly – Munnar – House Boat - Kumarakom

Day 1 & 2 : Airport   to  Athirapilly

Athirapally , Situated at a distance of 68 Kms from Trichur, the cultural capital of Kerala, Athirappally and Vazhachal waterfalls near Chalakudy present you with enchanting sights. The magnificent spectacle of water gushing down from over 80 ft is a sight not to be missed. Surrounded by dense forests of the Sholayar ranges in the Western Ghats, this is a "must see" tourist destination. An amusement park for children nearby is an added attraction.

Day 3 & 4: ATHIRAPILLY – MUNNAR (150kms)

After breakfast checkout hotel, drive to Munnar. Munnar, the picturesque hill stations in India is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala . Sprawling tea plantations, picture book towns, winding lanes, trekking and holiday facilities make this destination a popular resort town. Munnar is home of Nilgiri Tahrs, an endangered species of wild goat. On arrival, check in to the hotel with rest of the day to spend as you please- either relaxing or exploring tea city. Day 5: MUNNAR – HOUSEBOAT

Day 6 & 7: HOUSE BOAT – KUMARAKOM (30KMS)

After breakfast checkout hotel, transfer to Kumarakom, the renowned backwater destination on the banks of Vembanad Lake. Kumarakom is a beautiful paradise of mangrove forests, emerald green paddy fields and coconut groves interspersed with enchanting waterways and canals adorned with white lilies. Kumarakom is well known for its varied avian population.   Migratory birds can be seen in the season.  Overnight at the hotel BACK WATER RIPPLES in Kumarakom.

Day 8: KUMARAKOM– COCHIN AIRPORT/RAILWAY STATION
