Day 1 Arrive Cairo

 Welcome to Cairo, capital of Egypt. You will be greeted by our representative at the airport and transferred to your hotel (transfers on seat in coach basis). Spend the rest of the day relaxing or explore the city on your own. Modern Cairo is a dazzling metropolis that hums with activity around the clock, all year round. Overnight at your hotel in Cairo.

 Day 2 Cairo

After breakfast, set off on a half day tour that lets you explore one of the original seven wonders of the world: the Great Pyramids of Giza. A single pyramid is built with 2,300,000 blocks, each weighing an average of two and half tones. And there are more jaw dropping sights along the way including the Sphinx and the pyramids of Cheop, Chephren and Mycernius. Round off the tour at Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt and Sakkara, its necropolis. When members of the Pharaohs family died, they were ceremoniously transported from Memphis to Sakkara to be permanently enshrined in myriad temples and tombs that dot the site. You will also have a chance to explore the exotic bazaars of Cairo where you can shop for some local delights. Overnight at your hotel in Cairo. (B)

Day 3 Cairo to Aswan to Nile Cruise

Check-out of your hotel after breakfast. You will be transferred to the Cairo domestic airport from where you will catch a flight to Aswan, Egypts premier winter resort (transfers on seat in coach basis). Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the Nile Cruise (transfers on seat in coach basis). After a lunch on board your cruise boat, you will visit Philae Temple, High Dam and the unfinished Obelisk. Dinner and overnight on board the cruise boat. (B, L, D) 

Day 4 Nile Cruise

After breakfast, you set sail for Kom Ombo where you will stroll through the Grand Twin Temple of the riverside settlement. Lunch will be served on board the cruise boat. Set sail to the city of Edfu and visit the Temple of Edfu on the western bank of the Nile. Sail once more for Luxor. Dinner and overnight on board the cruise. (B, L, D)

Day 5 Nile Cruise

After breakfast, visit the Valley of Kings & Queens, the Temple of Hatshepsut and Colossi of Memnon. After lunch on board the cruise, continue on your grand tour with a visit to Karnak Temple which was once the main center of worship in this ancient land of Pharaohs. Dinner and overnight on board the cruise boat. (B, L, D)

Day 6 Nile Cruise to Luxor to Cairo

Disembark from the cruise boat after breakfast. You will be transferred to Luxor Domestic Airport for your flight to Cairo (transfers on seat in coach basis). Upon arrival into Cairo, you will be transferred to your hotel (transfers on seat in coach basis). The rest of the day is yours to relax or explore the city on your own. Overnight at your hotel in Cairo. (B)

Day 7 Fly Back Home

After breakfast, say good bye to this ancient city as you are transferred to Cairo International Airport for your flight back home (transfers in seat in coach basis). The tour ends at the airport. (B)
