Day 1 Arrive Christchurch
On arrival in Christchurch, also known as the Garden City, you will be met by our local representative and transferred to your hotel. Overnight at your hotel in Christchurch.

Day 2 Christchurch to Dunedin
Today, after breakfast, you travel south across the Canterbury Plains and through the towns of Timaru and Oamaru before reaching the university town of Dunedin, a waterfront settlement with strong Scottish overtones. Overnight at your hotel in Dunedin. (B)

Day 3 Dunedin to Queenstown
After breakfast, the morning is yours to explore Dunedin on your own and discover that it is the architectural capital of New Zealand. Later in the day, leave Dunedin, cross New Zealand's Blue Mountains ranges to arrive at Raes Junction. From here, follow the Clutha river into Queenstown. Time permitting, you will be able to explore on your own the lake-front city which has featured in many Bollywood blockbusters. Overnight at your hotel in Queenstown. (B)

Day 4 Queenstown
After breakfast, the day is yours to explore Queenstown at your own pace. And the choices are endless. Thrill seekers can go bungee jumping, jet boating, white water rafting, skiing. Softer options include scenic glacier flights, cruising in a paddle boat under the gaze of the Remarkable Mountains, mysterious forests treks, a gondola ride up to a ridge with a panoramic view of the surroundings. All activities are at your own expense and not included in the price of the tour. Overnight at your hotel in Queenstown. (B)

Day 5 Queenstown to Mount Cook to Christchurch
Your scenic journey starts after breakfast when you drive through the Central Otago region to Mt Cook, known to the Maori as Aorangi, the Cloud Piercer. Offer a little prayer of thanks at the Church of the Good Shepherd (yes, there is a lot to appreciate and be grateful for) on the banks of Lake Tekapo before entering the Canterbury Plains speckled with frolicking white lambs. Overnight at your hotel in Christchurch. (B)

Day 6 Christchurch to Rotorua
After breakfast you will be transferred to Christchurch airport from where you will catch a flight to the Thermal City of Rotorua. Upon arrival, check-in to your hotel. Relax in your room or maybe explore the city on your own. (The domestic flight from Christchurch to Rotorua is not included in the tour price). Overnight at your hotel in Rotorua. (B)

Day 7 Rotorua
Today, after breakfast, you are in for a close encounter of the violent kind with mother nature when you drop in at Te Puia Thermal Reserve where boiling mud pools and roaring geysers hiss and spit boiling water and gases from the bowels of the land. Follow this up with a visit to Paradise Valley Springs the home of native trout, birds and wildlife. Top off the tour at Agro Dome where they put a highly entertaining farm show featuring sheep sheering, sheep dog demonstrations, cow milking and more. The afternoon is yours to spend as you choose. How about soaking in the Polynesian Pools where the healing thermal waters are sourced directly from the local geysers. Day 8 Rotorua to Waitomo to Auckland
Today, after breakfast, you will enter the depths of the earth. But first you will travel over the forested Mamaku Ranges to reach the world famous Waitomo Glowworm Caves. The guided tour into nature's museum of stalactite and stalagmite sculptures includes an underground boat ride through a cavern speckled with the light of millions of glow worms. The drive through the fertile Waikato region back to Auckland. Overnight at your hotel in Auckland. (B)

Day 9 Fly back home
After breakfast, say good bye to this beautiful country, you are transferred to the airport for your flight back home. Your tour ends on this day. (B)
